We’re proud to serve our community — whether it’s late-night bites after a night out, a casual dinner with friends, or a flavorful lunch on the go. Over the years, Adobo Mexican Grill has grown to multiple locations across New York, each one a gathering spot where good food brings people together.

How It All Started

As the years went by, Ahmed and Luis continued to innovate and experiment with new flavors and cooking techniques. They even expanded their business, opening several more Halal Mexican restaurants in different parts of the city. Their success story became an inspiration to many immigrants who were trying to make a name for themselves in the American market.

Ahmed and Luis had proven that with hard work, determination, and a passion for good food, anything was possible.
After both men immigrated to the United States, they met by chance at a food festival in Los Angeles. Despite coming from different backgrounds, they immediately bonded over their love of cooking and their desire to bring their unique culinary perspectives to the American market. With their shared vision in mind, Ahmed and Luis decided to open a Halal Mexican restaurant.
After months of planning and preparation, the restaurant finally opened its doors. The decor was a perfect blend of Mexican styles, with bright colors and intricate tile work adorning the walls and floors. The menu featured a wide range of dishes that combined the spicy, tangy flavors of Mexican cuisine with the rich, savory flavors of 𝐀𝐟𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐧 cuisine.
One of their signature dishes was a Chicken Birria taco that was marinated in traditional Mexican spices and served with a side of tangy Broth. The restaurant quickly became a hit with locals. People came from all over the city to sample the unique and delicious flavors of Ahmed and Luis' Halal Mexican cuisine. The two men were overjoyed to see their dream become a reality, and they were grateful for the support they received from the community.
Ahmed and Luis had always shared a passion for food. Despite growing up in two different countries, they had both been exposed to a diverse array of flavors and cooking styles. Ahmed had grown up in Afghanistan, where his family owned a small restaurant that served traditional cuisine. Luis, on the other hand, had spent most of his childhood in Mexico, where his family owned a popular taqueria.
